At Zurich we recognize that people are more engaged, more efficient and happier when they can bring their authentic selves to work. Alongside our global employee resource group, Pride@Zurich, we encourage a culture that celebrates LGBTQ+ identities. We want all our employees, no matter their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, to feel a sense of belonging at work.
Employee Resource Group - Pride@Zurich
Pride@Zurich is the name of Zurich’s global alliance of LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans) employee networks.
There are currently LGBTQ+ networks in many Zurich operations including Austria, Australia & New Zealand, Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, USA and UK.
Pride@Zurich supports and encourages local Pride networks and shares best practice amongst countries, It also provides a safe environment for employees to discuss LGBTQ+ topics and to connect with other members. The network will also act as advocates for the global LGBTQ+ community, working with the business to ensure Zurich is a place where all colleagues feel able to be themselves.

Pride@Zurich's leadership team is chaired by Adam Kerns and Marianne Cowie, who work closely with the Pride country chairs and HR leads to drive the strategic direction of the network.

This year, and every year, we want to come #TogetherWithPride. That’s why we look for opportunities to bring communities together, both in person and virtually, to celebrate and share experiences of how they’ve been inspired to support Pride.
A Diversity & Inclusion mindset allows people the freedom to be their authentic selves without the need to conform. It creates a culture where people feel safe and happy. People feel free to be creative, think disruptively, challenge norms.
We mustn’t underestimate the importance and value of a safe and welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ people. We can all play our part in creating that.
Working in a culture of diversity and inclusion like Zurich, has allowed me to be freely who I am, become a better professional and enjoy what I do.
