Theater St. Gallen has distinguished itself in the past years as Switzerland's premiere musical theater. It is the oldest continuously run professional theatre in Switzerland and the only “three-genre theatre” (ballet, musical theater and drama) in the eastern Switzerland/Lake Constance region.
