There is only one way to avoid a wildfire’s destructive force: be prepared
Australia suffered its worst bushfire season during the ‘Black Summer’ of 2019-20, while the U.S. experienced record wildfires during 2020 that ravaged its west coast.
In Europe, Greece, Spain and Portugal were subjected to destructive wildfires. Even northern countries fell victim, including Russia, the UK and Sweden, which saw wildfires burn within the Arctic Circle.
It is a sad reminder that we need to take wildfires seriously and be prepared. Ideal risk management occurs well before an event. If your location is potentially exposed take these nine steps to prepare your business for wildfires and reduce damage from fire, smoke and soot.
